Questions, answered.
What is Listomancy?
Listomancy lets you write a list, get a public link, and share it with anyone. Whoever opens the link sees the list, can tick items off on their own device, and can copy or export it to the app they already use.
Do I need an account?
No. Write your list, publish it, and you get the link straight away. There is nothing to sign up for.
Can people edit my list?
No, and that is on purpose. A published list never changes under the people you shared it with. If someone wants a different version, they click “Duplicate and edit” and get their own copy to change and share.
Where are the checkmarks saved?
On the device of the person ticking. Each person keeps their own progress, so a shared packing list never gets ticked by someone else by mistake.
How do I move a list into Todoist, Notion or another app?
Every list has export buttons: Markdown (pastes as checkboxes in Notion, Obsidian and GitHub), a Todoist CSV, and plain text. More apps will follow.
Is it free?
Yes. Creating, sharing and exporting lists is free.
