- [ ] Keys and house instructions for whoever is watching your home

- [ ] Two or three tops
- [ ] One or two bottoms
- [ ] Sleepwear
- [ ] A warm layer or jacket
- [ ] A rain layer if the forecast says so
- [ ] Comfortable shoes for walking
- [ ] One slightly smarter outfit if you plan to go out

- [ ] Shampoo and body wash, travel size
- [ ] Skincare and sunscreen
- [ ] Medication and a small first aid kit

- [ ] Travel adapter if you are going abroad
- [ ] Camera if you do not rely on your phone

- [ ] Snacks for the journey

## Before you leave home
